Visit the Aquarium. There's the Children's Museum, the new Denver Art Museam, The Museum of Nature and Science (and there's an IMAX there), try Buffalo Bill's grave and museum - it's pretty neat, the Colorado History Museum, Elitches - Six Flags. If you want to shop and like the outlets, try driving west about an hour to Silverthorne and some great outlet shopping there. Also go south to Castle Rock for that. The nightlife is good in the downtown area (LoDo or Lower Downtown), Drive up to Estes Park (about 1.5 hrs) and go thorugh the shops, Rocky Mountain Nat'l park, get in some great fishing on the Big Thompson River or maybe try a trail ride on horse back. If you go up there, check out the Stanley Hotel which was where Stephen King wrote the Shining and was the setting for the TV series by the same name. Just a side note - The Stanley was not where the movie was filmed, even though it was sort of alluded to in the movie that it was the setting. The Denver Botanic Gardens are neat also. Driver up Mt Evans and watch the mountain goats. Is this enough?

We vacationed in Denver last may and had a blast. I am not sure your age groups but i took my children to the Denver Zoo... it is an awesome zoo. We are also huge Denver Bronco fans- they have a cool gift shop/ museum at the stadium. There are many attractions depending on what you are interested in doing...

Climb mountains, go to the zoo, visit the museum of Nature and Science, go shopping, play golf, go to 6 flags--I could go on for 1/2 hour. I guess I would say what is there not to do.
