If I were you I would check with Speedo and Nike online. Both of them have online stores and both of them sell high quality competitive style swimming suits. Another option would be to check other online type sporting goods retailers.

Target has some good ones from "Champion". They have those one piece competition suits for women (at least the one near my house has). This is a good time to get them since they're having a end of summer sale around now.

Anyway flowery ones doesn't matter as long as they are the one-piece type. Some girls on my swim team wear those flowery ones during practices and change into the team suits during competitions.

If there is a big 5 around where you live that should be helpful. try going online and searching kiefer or metro swim shop. They are both pretty helpful and you could always buy a grab bag suit for a cheap price and still look professional.

If you know your suit size I'd go to E-bay. My wife is a competitive swimmer and coach. She gets all her suits for a lot less than retail. Speedo and TYR are two of the suits most competitive swimmers. A good retail suit will cost you around $50-80 dollars. My wife doesn't pay more than $25.00 for new suits.

Sport store should have them. Try online also. Nike probably has some of the best swimsuits.
