I was with another girl. It was an aggressive make-out session and she had me pressed against the locker. There was a lot of movement and our hands were up each others shirts. This was between classes, and a lot of people were standing around watching. Both of us got a week of detention for this.

It was only going to last for a few minutes, then we would go on to class. We weren't doing anything disruptive. No one was forced to watch us.

Okay...school is for education, not for make-out sessions. Also, you can expect people to watch you...for people who are loaded down with AP courses like me, this is the entertainment that makes my day- seeing how stupidly others can behave. My suggestion-take this out of school please? It is very distracting.

although i think what you did is totally gross, i guess we have to respect each others opinions. and you asked about the punishment, not about what you did. I think that is a fair punishment, considering at my school we are not aloud to even hug each other. it most likely wasnt the disruption they were concerned about, but the fact that kids could go home and tell their parents that stuff like that is happening at school. that could get the prinipal or board of education into a lot of trouble. save that kind of thing for home...or at least where no one will care if you do it.

I don't believe you...but if it is true...yeah it's fair jackass. You're in the middle of a public place. Go get into an aggressive make-out session like that at Wal*Mart or something. You'll probably get thrown out.

I think you did great! you were not afraid to show how you feel about this girl. it takes guts to not care what people think of you, i would have done the same thing. i dont hide my relationships at school. i do pda, but get caught. i dont care thow, b/c th epunishment only lasts a while, and my parents got my back. all you people say that he is stupid for it but hes not. yall said school is for education, thats during class, your not learning between classes, so just stop. im all for you and support you 100%

School is for learning, not pleasuring yourself. Don't take this as a "hate" crime. I'm sure if a boy and a girl did this they would have gotten into trouble as well. Bottom line, you deserve detention.

Yes it was fair because it is a place for learning not having sex in the middle of the hallway. If you wanted to do that then you should have waited till you got home

Yes, a week of detention is quite fair! School is not a place to be making out, it is a place for your education.

I think that it was fair considering you were in the middle of an 'aggressive make out' session in the middle of a crowded hallway. Next time go to somewhere more private or do it at home.
Also to all the people flaming her for being a lesbian, go to hell you stupid homophobes. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being homosexual. I know alot of normal (and not so normal but still cool) gay/lesbian people.

Yes it is fair. You are suppose to be at school to get educated and to expand your mind. Not to make out. And from what I understand in this day and age you are not suppose to show affection in public at all in school. So I am happy that they gave you a week of detenition.

I think taht you need to grow up! School is no place for that.. you may not have MADE anyone watch but you knew that you were in public and that what you were doing that people would stop and watch.. You knew that you were putting on a show..
