It's anything that you noticed, heard or seen that suddenly drove you to go get a book, a magazine, ask a pro, etc about.

One of my daughters was fascinated about lions and Napoleon, so she has books on the subject and she read these.
My other daughter likes art and music, and can show you a lot.

So find out what has struck a chord with you. This could have been a disease that has affected a family member, and you tried to educate yourself about it.

See?

Maybe its because I grew up with earthquakes in SoCal and near CalTech that I am fascinated by them.
I check the CalTech website to see if any microquakes have occured every day and where, I have stood in a fault line in Mammoth Lakes, CA and my largest ever experience with a quake was 7.2 Landers, CA in June 1992.
