I'm a 17 year old girl and I don't have horrible skin, but I do have trouble spots here and there. I've heard all about Proactiv and Clean and Clear, etc. However, I've tried various drug-store acne medicines, but I have yet to find something that works for me. My skin is sensitive and I can't put anything to harsh on my skin. However, I wanted to try Proactiv. Does it really work? Will it negatively affect my sensitive skin?

yeah..i just bought it..I LOVE IT..i've only had it for about 2 week s,and all ready almost all my pimples are gone..you just have to keep up w/ it, morning and night, thats all, and dont touch your pimples, because if you do that they will come back, everyone should get it

i think what works truly depends on the person and their skin.
I used Noxzema for about two years and it just stopped , then I used Clearasil Ulta and after awhile it just stopped working . ( after a while means,as I got older). I'm 19 now and I use Clean and Clear, It does Well. I also use Dove products and Burt Bee's complexion soap.

what I'm trying to say is, it really depends on your skin and on your age! I bet if I use nutrogena again soon it will work. As your skin matures it changes, so spending a crap load on some famous products because everyone who uses it seems so glamorous is a waste of money. Use diffrent products, realize when its that time of the month ( because that affect acne too) and just keep your face clean.

what I do notice works is the three step system of cleanser, toner and moisturize. Just remember to do it everyday.

I too have sensitive skin and have used proactive. For breakouts it works really well to treat and prevent but it did irritate my skin when i first started using it. I continued to use it and the dryness went away within a couple of days. Within a week my face was clear of blemishes as well as blackheads. Hope this helps... also it comes with a money back guarantee.

well, proactiv is about the best on the market for acne. it worked for me, but u have to be consistent w/it. i think it would work for u, but it's not for everybody. each person has their own skin type. i suggest u try it tho, and drink lots of water. if it doesn't work, u could try St. Ives Apricot Radience cream cleanser for blemish prone skin. it's made for the more sensitive skin types.

it has different results for different people - you've gotta try it to find out - for some it works like magic but for some people it doesn't help at all - give it a try..perhaps you could barrow someone else's first..(before purchasing a bottle of it for urself) use it 2-3 times and see if there are positive results
