I did! There is actually paint that you can buy that is non-toxic..very low fumes. Even if it is normal paint just make sure that the room is ventilated and you take regular breaks...don't exhaust yourself. The doctor told me that the main reason not to paint would be because the smell would aggrevate sickness! Happy decorating.

The answer to your question is difficult to say. First it depends on the type of paint you are using, how ventilated you can make it, and of course how your pregnancy is going. Instead of asking the general public regarding the safety of doing something, you are better off asking your doctor to be safe

If you are using a water based paint, then yes it is ok. I painted the whole house when I was pregnant with my son.

Your best bet is to ask your OBGYN - that is his area of expertise. But, I think you'd be fine if you wear a mask (available at any Wal,K,Tar) and keep the air circulating. And make sure you snack throughout and take breaks. If you ever feel the leastbit whoozy or lightheaded, go lie down and quit painting until you can discuss it with your doctor.

Yes-wear a mask, use fans to keep the air moving and take a break to get some fresh air. Other then that you should be good to go.

If the paint is LEAD based I think you should ask you doctor before exposing yourself to it.
