I know this is wrong but lastnite my mom read my dads email and there was a email from this young girl asking my dad for money saying that she was my dads daughter, I would like to know what you think

personally, i would be upset that this girl is saying this over an email. what if its a scam. ans shes really not. you guys need to talk about this as a family then talk to this girl. see if its the real thing. ask questions. like why did the mother never say anything and is the mother sure its his kid and you want a DNA test. make sure before you go hand out money and info to some person good luck

Is it his daughter? If so then she has the right to ask him for money just like you do. She needs his financial support just like she needs her moms. Don't get upset at her if it's true because she didn't ask to be in that position she's an innocent girl looking for help from dad.

If your father has a daughter somewhere, it is his responsibility, along with her mom, to see that she is cared for properly. If she needs something, she should certainly ask. There's nothing wrong with it.
Based on what you wrote, I do think that your mother has acted badly. Whether or not she has a reason to read your father's email, I don't know. But she should not have involved you in it. She should have discussed it with him and allowed him to talk to you first. Is she trying to drive a wedge between you and your father?

Well, firsst of all I have a totally different opinion on this. Your mom should not have read the mail number one. Since she did SHe should talk to your dad not you. THis is between them if there is another child that she knows nothing about.

if the girl is really your dad's daughter then she has the right to ask for financial assistance from your dad & there is nothing wrong with it..your dad has a responsibility to that girl & should take care of it..Ü

she needs to show proof first. if she has the correct facts then of course its ok. Not because thats his daughter but because of the fact that, if hes her father and he never provided for her, hell he better start providing for her. Unless he knew about this unknown daughter of his and was keeping it from you guys... just a thought
