When trying to determine the cause of the problem, work with your doctor and consider environmental factors as well as medicines.
Aspirin, Xyban/Wellbutrin can cause this unpleasant effect as well as many other drugs. Your doctor may have prescribed something which has this side affect.
Tinnutus never goes away in some people, even after medicine that may have caused it is discontinued.

If it was caused by a recent exposure to loud noise (i.e. a concert), then it will go away over the course of a couple days.)
That kind of damage adds up, however. Long-term exposure to loud noise can cause tinnitus that never goes away.
Alternatively, their could be some internal medical cause. See an ENT (Ears, Nose, Throat Doctor) or other specialist.
If it WAS at a concert start wearing ear plugs. You'll be glad you did.

First you need to find the cause for the tinnitus. Once you pinpoint the cause, you can work on a remedy.

The only home remedy I can think of for this is using a good nasal spray, like Simply Saline. All saline products help clean out your sinuses which affect your ears. If this continues, get your ears checked. Please.
