It sounds like its a POST error, which could be any number of things. If its a brand-name PC, go to their website and look up POST beep codes or something of the like.
What the beeping is doing is it's playing beeps in a certain pattern. The literature for this machine should tell you what error each pattern stands for, such as a problem with memory or power or whatever.
If you're not using a brand-name PC, you'll have to go to the manufacture website for your brand of motherboard.
If you can give us more information, such as the brand of computer or motherboard, someone could probably find the page you need to figure out your problem.

Do not quote me on this but I believe that the number of beeps means something. For you, it could be almost anything. A few suggestions would be: Hard Drive issues, RAM issues, or PCI card issues. Try taking out a stick of RAM and see what happens. Just play around with it until you get something. If nothing happens, then take it in.

there is something wrong with your motherboard. If nothing boots up then may want to look inside to make sure everything is connected. The video card may also have broken. Basically if you know nothing about computers or hardware I would take it to a place like PC world and have it fixed there. There really isn't much you can do if it doesn't pass the bios screen

That beeping that you are referring to is a warning that the battery on the mother board is dead and needs to be replaced. There are also different beep tones that will indicate that there may be something else wrong with the pc. I hoped that this helped you out.

Hi The beeping sound usually means that your RAM chip is not working. Either your RAM chips is damaged or in may cases its simply not pushed into its slot properly.
If you know where the RAM is located try taking it out.. clean the slots and put it back.
If you are not confident call a computer technician.

when you turn the computer on ...if it works corectly then you should hear one single bleep before windows starts up -this means that the system is working correctly ......
the number of bleeps is significant and can give an indication as to the problem
