I am not sure what color of eye shadow would look good on me. I have a little on the darker side blonde hair, and sorta tan skin. (not pale, not really dark) Whenever I try a new color, someone either tells me it looks bad or that it clashes with my outift. Now I just don't wear it, even though I really like eyeshadow. HELP!

Never try to match your outfit. Go with a brown/ bronze color, it will look more natural and nice. Aim for a shade or two darker than your skin color.

I think you should use a color that is a shade darker than your skin. And sometimes what you can do is experiment with colors before you go out and see which one you like best..

For an everyday look, try neutral colors - tan, pale pink, taupe, khaki, lavender , sand (it will give you a slight wash of color but not jump out)
