I have been at my university at 4.5 years. I am so sick of it here! I guess part of it is due to the fact that I had to stay longer than the originally planned 4yrs.

If you are thinking about going to a community college, I believe that it's a good choice. You save money and still get a good education. If you can though, start off at the c.college for 1 or two years and then transfer to a university. That way, you get your GPA up and save a little $ perhaps.

Honestly though, I would have been fine at a c.college for 4 years. Do what will work out best for you financially and education wise. Best wishes.

Well, it's hard to make that sort of comparison without experiencing both environments as they are very different. However, I go to one of the top 15 colleges in the nation and I know a few transfers who went to a community college for a year or two and then came here. The overwhelming verdict from them is that they are happier at a four year college. However, I think a lot depends on the caliber of the four year university and the kind of students it attracts.

Community College only offer general college courses. For higher learning I have to finish up it at the U. I like Community College tough. It provide me a more relaxing atmosphere to study and embrace life after high school.

I am at a university in IL and I really love it there. The only thing I regret about not going to a community college is the fact that I'm going into a lot of debt! lol
