I am sorry to say that this is inevitable, even with expensive ones. You cannot help the tracks in the sheen, until the sheen wears down. You can use hot water to mop, which will slowly deteriorate the finish, along with traffic.

Are the smears from the windex or from walking on them? If it's walking on them, maybe you could try taking off your shoes when you come in.

A friend and I clean houses and we clean a lot of sealed hardwood floors. I'm not sure how laminate compares to hardwood. We use Murphy's Wood Oil soap in our mop water. Follow the instructions so you don't get it too strong and see if that helps. If you get it too strong it will leave a dulling residue on your floor. Mix it up properly and it does a great job on wood floors.

You can buy cleaners specifically made for laminate floors. I'm not sure how it works, but it does a better job than anything else I've tried at not leaving streaks and smears.

You might have to take your shoes off while in the house.
