it is in the Dahlia family, but since there are so many different varieties it is really hard to tell you the exact name of this paticular variety.
It grows on a tall sturdy plant with leaves that are kind of large but not enormus.A very striking plant. likes plenty of water.dig up bulb in winter.

Yep, its a certain type of dahlia. Sorry to say I don't know its name. You could try looking through a catalog of dahlias if you want to place this particular one. Good Luck!

Nice photo. Looks like a dahlia to me. I'd have better luck telling you the varieties it isn't, rather than one it is. There are dozens of cultivars.

i haven't seen something like this earlier. it rather is appealing! I actual desire somebody comes up with a popularity for it. Is there any risk which you would be able to bypass back to the place this plant is, and ask the persons at that place what it is?
