Certain insect just detect heat source (mosi's) others to the pheromones that are given off through your sweat

They are attracted to smells on the body, but someone told me we produce very small amounts of things called Theramones, don't know if spelt correctly, which insects also produce so they buzz around u until they realize u are not an insect. Not sure if this is true or not!!
