sounds like a sick guy. I would report him to your congressman/woman. He is collecting pictures for his 'private' use. It is against the law for an employer to 'ask' you to send a picture in order to be employed. This part of EOE is carefully danced around in the modeling industry, however you aren't applying for a modeling job.

You should have asked him why. You have a right to know. Maybe he wanted to send it to somebody else since he wasn't the one who did the hiring for the job. Sometimes companies hire people to work at places like supermarkets, bars, etc. but they are employees of the manufacturer not the supermarket or bar. Anyway, do you really want that job? You can do better.

I wouldn't work for someone like that! The only job where a photo would be appropriate would be in modeling or acting. He's either a freak, or has no clue about employment law. Not a great employment prospect in either case, IMHO.

I would not send him your photo nor talk to him again. No reputable company requires that as a part of the hiring process UNLESS you are an actor.

My advise is to throw the contact info away and continue looking.

As Judge Judy would say, if it doesn't make sense, it's probably not true. Sorry, but e-mailing your picture most likely has not to do with getting a job.

He won't remember you.

Being attractive is a part of the job.

Cigarettes are evil and kill people. Do not become a part of this.
