Yes! My friend breastfed, but then she needed emergency surgery for Crohn's disease and the meds dried up her milk completely. After about a week or so in the hospital, she was able to start nursing again with a supplemental nursing system and formula in it, pumping as often as possible, and after about a month she built her supply back up.

Since you stopped nursing so recently, you should still have some milk left in you. Start pumping and I'd bet you'd be surprised how quickly it can come back. I've attached a link for you about relactation and adoptive breastfeeding.

Yes, you can relactate, especially having stopped only a couple weeks ago. Fenugreek capsules, mother's milk tea (you can find this is many grocery store chains in the organics section), oatmeal, lots of water, and frequent pumping. Check out the LA Leche League website or Mothering for more information.

Yes, it is possible. The flow will be better with the baby suckling rather than just pumping, as the hormonal let- down reflex will be utilized. Some medications also help, such as metoclopramide and chlorpromazine.

It's possible. You usually have about a month after you stop breastfeeding before it dries up completly. I would recommend seeing a specialist so he can monitor your baby to make sure he is getting all the essential nutrients.

yes. i was getting milk about six to seven months after i stopped breast-feeding my daughter. and a year later if i squeezed them they would still squirt a little. so yes you should be able to start back and remember the more you pump the more milk your boby will produce.

it is possible yes, i have read about adoptive mothers who got milk flowing ahead of time by pumping and they breastfed. it takes time though and you may not produce enough to nurse exclusively. good luck
