The manager said she is dancing at her own risk and won't pay for any meds for her. Is this true that we are dancing at our own risk and if we get hurt we are on our own? Maybe if a lawyer reads this or something..........Thanks!

I doubt if Mrs.Tatum really is a respectable lady.if she cant respect others profession

If the injured girl isn't an employee then the manager isn't
responsible for injuries. If the girl is an employee and was
being paid to dance then the manager must pay. Was the girl
drunk or flying on some kind of medicine(legal or otherwise?).
Sounds like the manager will win this one.

Yes it's true. Unless you signed medical info at the beginning of employment he doesn't have to cover anything. You can try suing him for worker's comp but he probably doesn't have that type of insurance in a Strip Club.

My understanding is that dancers are sub-contractors. We have a construction company, but we always make sure that any sub-contractors sign a waiver acknowledging that we are not responsible for any injury they might receive. This is perfectly legal. I wish your friend luck.
