The only criteria for adoption should be your ability to care for a child financially, physically, and emotionally.

u have to pass some tests before adopting ur first child.
I believe that a child can have problems later when it grows up with gay people as its parents. Some children do get offended in school, no matter how great the couple is.
Gay people should not be able to adopt, but they cant help it if they r gay, and they want to love a child, so they should be able to adopt.
Debats are still going on, and there is no right and wrong, there are just our opinions.

Yes. People keep whining about a mother and a father, but look at the divorce rate--a single-parent family is practically the norm.
There are a lot of kids out there that need homes--why would anyone put restrictions on who can adopt them--other than someone who is abusive, of course.

Is there a reason that happy people or single people shouldn't be allowed to adopt? The ideal of course would be two parent families, but with the number of children needing a home I'm sure things could be relaxed a bit. Did you want only gloomy people to adopt?

yes gay guys should be able to adopt if they are in a commited relationship. yet, it should be done with care. there are a lot of people against gay marrage and some kids may have a hard time with teaseing when they are growing up. single people should be able to adopt a child as long as they are fincailly stable

Yes, Just being a mother and a father does not always make you a good parent. It take love and understanding. I believe wanting a baby is the first step. I always agree with that statement why do you have to have a license to drive but anyone can be a parent

I think they should be able to adopt. If they can care for a child and give the child love and guidance that he/she needs and also deal with questions that other people are going to ask, then I think they should be able to adopt. I don't think Married/singe heterosexual/homosexual should be the criteria in deciding who will make a good parent.

It has been PROVEN that children raised within a family structure containing both a MOM and DAD fair better than single parent households.
I am not in favor of either adopting children. Gays are immoral and should NEVER be able to adopt. They chose a lifestyle inconsistent with having children so they shouldn't HAVE any. Single people should only adopt older children who cannot be placed with 2 parents. I do not mind that.

I don't think it matters if your gay or single, if you can raise a child in a loving environment then that's all that matters.. People who adopt will most likely love and raise that child to become a great person

Yes. It's way better than the child growing up in foster care.
There's so many kids who need a stable, permanent home.
