My stay at home nanny has two children of her own. But she is very quiet and hasn't handled my baby on her own yet. My 4 year old is very attached to me and doesn't let her do much, should i start handing over my newborn to her? i haven't yet gone out and left the kids with her should i? or should i submit to my subconcious paranoya and stay at home doing everything myself

Have a backround check done on your nanny. My husband and I hired a sitter to watch our daughter, a couple months later we found out that her husband was a lifetime registered sex offender. He molested three children. because of the laws in the state we live in the only reason this couple got in trouble was because he was left alone with her and we had proof that he was. Legally she could have her daycare even with him in the home. They didn't have to tell us he was a sex offender. It was a terrible ordeal. The police in our town advised us that we were always welcome to call and enquire about an individual. They just can't give specifics, but they can say, " I personally wouldn't leave my child in their care." Or something else to that affect. Before this happened I never really gave a second thought as to whom it really was I was leaving my little girl with. Life in that perspective has completely changed since then. I wish it hadn't had to come down to that incident to realize what I should have done all along.

do wat u think is correct! but most probably u should wait a little while till your elder son or daughter is a little mature enough to know bad from good and how to handle things with people she doesnt know that well. If they are attatched to u as they say i think its a good idea for you to stay with them for a while until they get a little older. Try to take them with you wherever you go. If it is truly impossible find a relative or a friend that your kids are close to stay with them instead of a babystitter you dont know that well. But it is ur wish think about all the circupstances and wat would happen if you did leave them or not and i a m sure you will make the right decision! i hope my answer helps u! =)

I have to ask you to ask your self, Do you trust her (The Nanny) like you trust a family member? Does the Nanny have you children's best interest in mind at all times? Does she treat your children with equal respect like you give them?
While you ask your self theses questions please keep in mind if your gut instinct tells you NO! then don't do it. (Mothers know best)
I hope it works out for you!

I think you should go out and come home at an unexpected time (as a surprise). This will make it easier for you to find out what is going on while you're gone.

i in my view would not subject approximately it. My son began off with one million/2 a field of greens while he grew to become into around 5 months old. in case you do no longer want to start up him on solids yet then do no longer in user-friendly terms because of the fact he had one million jar does no longer mean he needs to maintain having it. i in my view doubt he gets unwell and that i in my view would not subject approximately diabetes. additionally, constantly feed with a spoon....on no account placed rice cereal in a bottle with formulation.

Never leave your child with someone you don't know. Bad things do happen. Get to know this person .
