Now that some short time has passed since his death, maybe it's easier to see what Steves legacy is. What do you think of him & his place in animal history / broadcasting?

All I can say is "Crikey. What a beaut!"

Well, I can say this about him. He was not sitting anonymously behind a computer like me or you or any of the others reading this, nor was he mummified in front of a television set living life vicariously through others. He was a great example of how we should conduct our lives.

Now you have done it, I am going to shut this thing down and go out and hunt frogs with my daughter who adored him.

i do no longer know the telephone quantity, yet regrettably Steve Irwin is not any longer living. A stingray stung him in the midsection. This has been whilst in comparison with a proffessional dogs walker being eaten by using a poodle (in different words it replaced into some form freak twist of destiny and replaced into the main no longer likely way he could die). incredibly bizarre. And unhappy, that guy replaced into cool.

I think he would always be known as the Croc. Hunter no matter how many people come after him trying to do the same thing. He was a very brave man with a big appetite for adventure and he should be remembered as such.

I believe Steve Irwin to be an opportunist who took advantage of the movie Crocodile Dundee to advance his agenda as an environmentalist and conservationist. One could see that he was a tragedy waiting to happen by his cavalier and reckless handling of dangerous animals.

his legacy will be his kids no doubt, his kids will probably follow his his footsteps and become legends in his own right. to honour him i think that they should name a species of animal after him or a plant. hate to answer a question with another question but what animal would he best be named after? lol i think a new type of koala or something.... who knows eh sport...
