using ascii values or anything p.s. value of pi is 22/7 or 3.14

With the extended Ascii codes pi is 227 (base 10). That may display a pi symbol on your system maybe not.

Dunno about how to insert it into a program, but in a document using Word go to Insert>Symbols and then look for it in the Greek characters (I can't find it in the Maths characters but maybe I didn't look hard enough, but there it is in Greek ...'
