Interesting that you posted this in the DIY category...for that is about the only way that one would "see" a ghost - by creating it themselves...

Interesting... This must be the first time I saw a question like this.. Well, i've always wanted to see a ghost but i've never seen one yet... I won't say i don't believe in ghosts but without seeing one, it's really hard to say that i believe they exist... I've heard lots of stories from my relatives and friends who have experienced such incidents but I still don't know whether they are true... The latest story i heard was from a bunch of friends of mine who went on a trip down south (Sri Lanka).. They went to Galle and they had to go through Peraliya area, which was hardly hit by tsunami on the 26th of december 2004.. You might have heard about the world's worst train disaster.. Actually, an ill-fated train which travelled from Colombo to Galle with 2000 passengers got hit by tsunami and only about 3 or 4 people survived... It happened in Peraliya... So, however, when my friends were passing Peraliya at about 11 pm, they heard voices of women and children weeping and screaming.. They all got terrified... But, nobody saw a ghost... I still don't know whether to believe it or not but most of the people now believe that this area is haunted and there are stories that make people believe it... But i've never seen a ghost before and hope i'll never see one...

Yes, there was a ghost walking around my room. Dont be afraid of ghosts, they are just people who dont relize they are dead yet, or they have died, and they were not ready to die.

I woke to seeing my recently deceased mother-in-law standing at the foot of my bed.
She was just there for a moment, I think it was her way of saying good-bye.
It was kind of nice, yet eerie.

No, but we have one in our house. It seems to be friendly as it plays with our cats.
