I met a guy on line and i did not think he was interested in me, anyway i deleted his messages and he wrote and said, i see i made no impression on you, my first date he was in seven years and then he wrote back he enjoyed being wei tme and we seem to get on wwell he said i did not like himm touching me, so he took it i was not attracted to him. He said wehn he dropped me of he expected a kiss on the cheek was expected but it seemed like i could not get out of the car quick enough. I did like him, its just i am not used to going out with someone and i was a bit nervous and tired, I really do fancy him what ought i to do now. I have written back telling him i was tired and nervous and i did not want to rush it as i have made mistakes in the past. I did fancy him and wanted to hug him but i did not know what he would think, now i wish i never deleted his messages.

Well, you should just tell him that, yes you do like him and want to pursue something but only if he is willing to take it VERY slow. Explain to him that you are very shy and it takes time for you to get"involved" with people. If he truly likes you he will be willing to take things at your pace and not try to rush you or make you feel bad for not moving at his pace. You sound like a person who has been burned a lot in past relationships and is very cautious of new relationships because of past experiences. If this is true you should explain that to him also. Give him an understanding of who you are, where you`re coming from and why you behave the way you do. Online dating is a risky thing and you never know what will come of it but if you like this guy and want to try having a relationship you have to open up and let him really know who you are and what makes you tick. Good luck! I hope everything turns out and you have a wonderful relationship some day. :-)

Was it his first date or yours? Just because you had a date with him, it does not mean he should have received a kiss. A hug would have been good. It sound like a boring date. You never describe if you had fun or not. If he want to see you again he will.

Most of these on line daters are cheaters and bastards.
with wives and children at home.
Some - a small percentage are genuine.
Take it as slow as you can, find out all the history you can. Do a Google
search. Phone them at home on a landline before you meet them. . Seven years is a long time. Good luck.!!!

EEK! Your first date in 7 years and you are letting this guy make you second guess your instincts.

You behaved exactly how you felt comfortable behaving.

Follow your instincts and don't go out a second time with a guy who is trying to manipulate you into more than you are ready for.
