I'm sick of it. Some people would tell me something and then say sorry if that's not what you want to hear or what you want to hear. Or say what do you want ot hear or not to hear. I mean I'm not like that! Even if I'm the only one in this world that only hears everything people say, and don't filter out anything. I don't sit around thinking "this is what I want to hear or don't want to hear" I take things exactly what I hear and see and read. Make sense? I don't filter out unpleasant stuff people say. I take it as it is.

not every person can take information as just that , and it is hard to take information when it is done as an attack against you. but i agree it would be better if we could take the straight stuff

People who use such filters are worried that you might not accept them....not their answers....because they have responded in one way or another. Or you have placed them in that position before and rejected their answers overtly. So they are trying to be a friend and tell you the truth whether you like it or not.

some people have learned to defuse something they will say to someone that may not want to hear it.

its a learned pre-response, meant to defuse before. I have seen it in action.
