How you do it is you press and hold Alt, and while holding it you press these numbers in order from the Num Pad. Alt+2552
Bonus: Alt+241 gets this cool plus or minus sign ±, Alt+782 gets you a cool music note ♫ (Warning, most of these do weird things like go back or forward in your browser, so do them on a notepad and copy and paste, or do them in the google bar)
You can also try all kinds of different combos, and might get some cool things.

It depends on what program you are using. i.e. microsoft word, use tools insert symbol.

I usually type "o" and put it in superscript. Works for me.
