Sorry, but the chances of that working well for you seem to run somewhere between slim and nil. Do check out any evidence to the contrary, but it might be better to create your own characters and not have to pay to use someone else's.

The publicised fanfiction authors don't make as much money as you would think. It's usually authors who have been doing it for years, are well known, and contribute to a large number of texts that make the most money. However, you could become one of those authors. Why let the amount of money you can make sharing your art determine whether or not you'll share it? If your manuscript gets accepted, you could very well be on your way to creating more books in your own series, and eventually your own original work. Don't let the naysayers doom your future. Decide what you want and just go for it. You only live once.

regardless of the money to write for star wars you already have to be an established writer. so start writing other non star wars novels. as for the fett series i know there was a childeren series and tales of the bonty hunter the bounty hunter triology and he has made numerous camos
i learned that from the kevin j anderson website

I'm sure they do make pretty decent money, but that's at least largely due to the fact that they've established a long successful literary career before they reach the level of becoming a Star Wars writer.

Go to Baen's Books and sign in to that site. When you are approved, you will see several subsites; chat room, authors' sites, The Bar where actual authors and others pose questions about books that have been written or books they'd like to see written. Check on books by either author or title and you can download or read free ebooks right at this site.

Reading the publication instead of observing the movie is the ultimate way to see what the author intended. Reading uses your creativeness, hones your reading skills, and can better your vocabulary
