Most good job sites and portals are actually based on a content management system or CMS. Since there are many of the CMS software products out there, you might want to try out a few. Job postings are much like any article or resource you would find in a CMS.
I have included a link to a site where you can try out several open source (mostly php) free CMS systems without the need of installing it yourself or signing up for anything. Just test and play around.
Some of the more popular ones are PHP nuke, Joomla, and Drupal. If you find that these open source ones are too simple or not up to your standards, you can always then look into professional off the shelf products. But I am sure CMS software is what you would need for such a task.
