Do you get free college to ANY college ..or just the one you get accepted at? sorry if I sounded stupid.

Well first of all, you have to gain a Tribal Membership. This is difficult, as our family has been trying for years. Once you get it, the government will send you information on the benefits you may/may not receive. If you are granted college tuition benefits, you will receive that information as well as a list of participating colleges. It would almost be better to just sign up for a non-specific government grant and go to the school of your choice.

You aren't stupid at all. A few people have heard that Native people get to go to school for free, but it isn't true at all. I am sorry. You might get scholarships that are open to indigenous peoples, but no free lunch.
