The answer lies within alright.
I expect it is because the answer is lieing down...maybe if it got up and shook itself we wouldn't need to ask questions here.
To be serious.....I have only asked one question but I have answered lots. Not because I think I know all the answers, I think it is because I feel happy helping if I can at all. Might as well do that as wander around the world on line. However I think it can become addictive . I find I have put a lot of other things aside. I will have to throw a check on that.

The answer lies within is like saying, you will know it when you get there. It is a vague phrase invented by someone that didn't know the answer but wanted to appear as if they did.
I do like that phrase tho, I wonder how it would float if I went around yahoo/answers just typing that in as an answer.
