My way of thinking is the only thing you get for being first on the highway is a ticket! Always let someone pass you, as long an you are following a safe distance and they are movng away from you faster, the faster one SHOULD get the ticket. I always thank the person passing me as they will always 'Plow the Road' for me!

After being pulled over for speeding one day, I said to the officer " That guy up there was going much faster than me". The officers response ...." But I caught YOU."

Not always. The cop knows youre both speeding, so he just has to decide who he wants more.

I got pulled over in the second car & the cop told me, just for the record, that the first car got pulled over also. :)

By law, the cop can pull over either or both.
