I injured my big toes running and the nails on those ones turned black and fell off. I still want to be able to wear sandals. Is it ok to put nail polish on the place where the nail fell off?

I'm not sure, I want to say yes go ahead as long as you don't have an open wound where the toenail was. Has it healed over? If yes, then I would, but if not, don't because you could get bacteria in your toe from the polish.

The nail polish isn't a subject, however the remover is. She's 4 months old. Why do no longer you carry off on the nail polish girly days until eventually she is sufficiently old to rejoice with it (like 3 or 4).

Both toes? anyway nail polish is used for nails. why don't you wait until the nails grow back to use "nail" polish. or have some fake toe nails put on and paint them.

I would think so, but they also make artifical toe nails, if the skin there isn't to sensitive you could try and glue them on there so you actually have a nail. My friend had the same problem and did that for prom. It looked like it was her real nail! Good Luck

Is the nail bed healed?

If so, you could paint the underlying skin - but nail polish isnt going to stay on skin like it will on a nail.

If the nail bed is not healed, I wouldnt try it, the chemicals in the nail polish will probably sting!!!

Maybe try a "cool" band aid???!!

I don't know if it's ok, but I've definately done it. I suffered no ill effects from putting nail polish on an "un nailed" toe.

I'm sorry to hear that. I would NOT recommend it! It's not good to cover the healing skin with anything but a band-aid so your toes can heal and be healthy until your nails grow back. (I've had one of mine ripped off too.)

NO!!! The nail polish has harsh chemicals in them, which may seriously hurt your toes. They are sensitive areas, because they don't have a nail protecting them.

So don't risk it. Please
