I was on a fire dept for several years, and with the first women. They were all capable, some were small and slight, but they weren't the ones we sent in for rescue, they ran the engine or handled other duties, including ventilation. They also drove the trucks to the scene, because some of the macho young studs were horrible and reckless drivers.
Yes, you are sexist. Firefighters rarely pull people out of houses, most people either get out themselves or are already dead if it is fully involved. We don't go into fully engulfed homes, no matter what hollywood likes to portray. Yes, we go into homes that are on fire, but not if the risk to the firefighter is greater than the potential for rescue of a survivor.

Not all male fire fighters are built like line backers and some female fire fighters are. It's a case by case basis.
And if I was in a fire I don't think I'd be too choosy about who the hell was pulling me out. As long as it's somebody!

Baloney. This is the old "can she get you out" argument. Female firefighters have proven over and over again, the answer is yes. You can't be a firefighter otherwise. So let's stop picking on the wonderful women in this dangerous service and give them some support.

How "Butch" they look has nothing to do with it ! Does she do her job? That's what it's all about. She wouldn't be out on the line if she hadn't passed a stringent testing, such as the ability to handle a certain amount of weight. As you requested, I will call you sexist.

I am a 5'0ft, 120lb, 19 year old female currently on the fire department in my city and recently by, my self got a 250 pound man out of a fire. Women can be, are, and will continue to be fire fighters, so you sir can take your opinions and shove them up your ***.

actual its because of the fact women are people who're sexist and too many adult adult males enable them to escape with there woman chauvinism. women do assume particular therapy and any feller who wont teach them favouritism is labelled sexist. women cant see there very own hypocritical chauvinism because of the fact they do no longer choose to and that they are so arrogant they choose to think of that for the time of trouble-free terms adult adult males could be sexist because of the fact women are never incorrect in there hypocritical comments, my sister is an occasion yet I even have dealt with her sexism by using no longer chatting along with her, i've got no longer spoken to her for incredibly much 3 years. they choose conflict that's what they might desire to get.

A women can do whatever a man can do.
Maybe even better.
Can a man take care of 10 kids while a women works?
Yes.
So a women can pull a person out of a burning building.
Piece of cake!

Ever hear of adrenaline? It makes you strong, and with training, it wouldn't matter if it was a male or female pulling you out, only that they got there in time. Besides, men can be under 5'5", are they really going to better just because they are male, as opposed to a larger female? Bite me.
