Religious idolotry has once again caused humans to start killing each other. The only difference in these superstitious beliefs is some ritual details and names of "Gods".
When are we humans going to drop the crutches of "hocus-pocus" and start being responsible for our own actions.
Maybe if we stop putting so much importance on "things that aren't there" maybe we will start to take better care of "things that are there".

I'm sorry, I should have put this in the religion category. Bear with me, I'm old.

Brad,
The christians did declare war on people flying airplanes into buildings.
As a matter of fact, christians chose some people that weren't even remotely related to the attacks and declared war on them!
It's kind of like attacking Mexico for the Pearl Harbor attack. Back then, we at least went after the attackers.
Bush was working with the bin Laden family and provided safe passage for the bin Ladens out of America. Within hours of the attacks. Their flight was the only ungrounded flight allowed by the whitehouse.

Religion has been the cause of most wars. It makes me think twice about religion.

no. i am a christian. i was brought up in the world embracing my religion. and i believe that the only solution to all of this problems caused by religion conflicts is...-------RESPECT. So, i think you should drop your statements regarding on stopping these what you call "superstitious belief", there are a lot more reasons behind wars, not just merely religion conflicts. I respect your belief for not having to believe on anything but you have to respect the belief of others too. again, I am a Christian and I'm not anti Islam. Also, i believe that another reason behind wars is when people try to put their butts in to others own business.

Yes indeed, but it is polite not to say anything about it.
Besides, it's better to be addicted to a religion than being addicted to substances. Clearly some people have a "need" that can be met with religion, so I'm not sure abolishing religion would be such a great idea.

Both "religions" contain much that is superstition and a bit of truth. If you are looking for a real Revelation try The Urantia Book.

War is fun, interesting, exiting, fulfilling and often profitable. Religion is the best excuse for war we have invented to date.
Give us a better excuse and we'll give up religions.

Yes, they are. But Christians don't declare war on people by flying planes into buildings.
