Sorry I love to ask these questions even though I don't care what people think about me(it doesn't affect me unless it's offending them or something).
Ok My favorite shows are Friends and House MD. Even though on Friends they lie and sleep with eachother and live with eachother(opposite sexes) but my lifestyle is opposite of that, I don't lie unless I'm protecting someone's safety, I don't sleep around or live with anyone. And it's not the fact that I want that lifestyle the characters have on Friends.
I like House MD because it's about solving medical mystery and House's blunt and mean honesty to get out the truth(I'm that way in a way). Also it doesn't involve their intimate personal life like romantic lives but involves directly on solving medical mysteries.
Go for it hehe.

friends- that's my all time favorite show too! why do people like it so much even if it doesn't relate to their lives? maybe because it's humorous in a way that everyone can enjoy. also, i think the characters were really well written, so that every person has a little of each character in them. when they do or say things that bring out those traits, in a way you're laughing at what you see in yourself. it's also really nice to see the strong friendship they have, and how supportive they are of one another- everyone wants that. mostly, though, i think it's just a really well written and well played show that has great chemistry between the actors- so it all comes together, and it's just enjoyable to watch.
ok, how's that for psychobabble? is my BA worth anything?!
oh, sorry, i never watched house, so i can't comment on that.

I like these shows too. I don't know what it says about us. I am older than the usual "Friends" viewer. I guess I like the deep friendship they have, though. I don't know what to say about House. I guess I keep watching to see how much more we will find out about the real man.
Also, I like shows that concentrate on the people rather than the story line. House does both. Friends is just about the people.

it means you like to be entertained by TV...
but it also shows you like to watch how the show unfolds.
I bet you know what the out come will be.
its all about how our mind process things.
I know people that only watch things that make them think IE. history stuff or mystery things. and they are always looking something with an inquisitive eye.
other I know watch only sitcoms and they think completely differently...they look for fun in life.
so that's what I think anyways.

It sounds like you like to be entertained and reflect some traits you like/or maybe want to have I like Seinfeld he's witty sarcastic and entertaining. Am I these things not really but love good wit and sharp writing, also Frazier etc. Keep watching what you enjoy
