am from scotland and i love the place what i ask is has any1 ever been to holiday to scotland and i would like to know what yr experience was and if y liked it or not.........now i know am gonna get sum stupid comments from the english please spare me iv heard them all before

Yes, both myself and my husband have holidayed in Scotland. My Mum is originally from Edinburgh and I have family there so needless to say we have been there several times. My husband used to holiday in Ardna..... erm...... hmmmm..... need to go and find out how to spell that one! As a couple we went to stay in St Andrews for a few days with a friend who was at Uni there studying Applied Maths (yuk!). He took us to Crail harbour which I am sure would have been gorgeous. Unfortunately we couldn't see it due to the dense fog! My best friends parents moved to the Highlands a couple of years ago and absolutely love the peace and tranquillity there. They have invited to stay with them so who knows maybe we will be visiting sometime!

I've visited Scotland a number of times. I've had holidays in the Borders, done a tour up the West coast and across to Inverness and down the East coast. Wherever I go I am made very welcome - in B&Bs, hotels or campsites.
I love the scenery, the traditions, the people, the towns and the cities.
I was born in England, as were my parents, but I am very proud of my Scottish ancestry.

I am from Scotland too and love the place. It has so many great coastal towns and big cities that it would be too hard to pick a fave holiday destination...but i do think the Isle of Arran is goregous, as is Edinburgh.

No i have never been to Scotland but always wanted to go I bet its realy cool there in hill and all the castles wish i could have said yes.

I'm Scouser but my wifes scottish we go to scotland every 3/4 months I love it, been to Glasgow and Ayrshire Coast and also Lanarkshire, lots to see when you go scenery beautiful and a lot of historic sites to see.

never been... some parts look much the same as anywhere else,cities etc but i love the wild and rugged and scotland seems to have plenty of that too...mountains and rivers and lochs hmmmm...lovely...would love to go there someday...
