I used to donate often, and I also used to donate plasma, then my iron level started dropping. I've been fighting that for about six months now. I'm on supplements, and have to go to the doctor once a month for bloodwork. They still don't know what is wrong. As soon as they figure it out, if I can, I'll start donating again.

Yes I would.
I did once and passed out. Not from the sight of blood, but I got weak afterwards. I only weighted a few pounds over the limit. The nurse figured that was the cause, but I got the flu few days later...
I don't weight enough to give most the time so I can't
☺

Yes, I wish I could donate blood, but I can't because of a medical condition that involves blood clots.

I wouldn't mind donating blood. They never have wanted to let me, though. Two reasons, I don't weigh enough and I don't have enough iron in my blood.

I sure do. I have iron rich A-blood, and the blood banks seem to like it.
Matter of fact, when my late husband was wheeled into the operating room for his triple bypass, I went and gave blood!
Kept my mind off of things.

I have donated. I have never gone back. Needles make me faint. I gave blood because I thought it was the right thing to do. But, maybe those with easy to find veins should be commandeered to give blood. IDK.
