For the person who asked about my age i'm 13 but to be honest I think I act like a 16 year old. My grand parents say.
And the horse would not be put in the woods, we have this little stall think it's big made out of wood i've always wanted to put a pony or of course a horse and I could exercise and ride it everyday.

No problem! My friend used to have a horse, and now she has two donkeys, and we even live in a suburb! hardly any HUGE lands of grass. I would first look up a stable and ask them about where you can actually get a horse. talk to them about how to take care of them, and the enviroment they need. start off with visiting the stable and taking care of some horses they have there, so when you actually buy one you are completely comfortable with them. that should show your parents that you are responsible enough and determined to have a horse of your own. make sure to also take note that you need to be able to afford all of this. good luck!

What if you talk to your parents about it, and make it clear that you will take care of it by yourself? 10 acres is plenty for one horse and maybe clear off a section (about 2 acres for it), and volunteer to help clear the acreage showing that you are willing to work hard for it.
To get the horse, there are plenty of places that you can adopt one, especially the ones from a sale barn (you may actually be helping one from getting slaughtered!)If you don't get a Quarter horse or Paint (at first) you will still be able to obtain a loving horse. Since you are 13, I would like to add that you have to understand the hard work. We got my daughter her first horse at 8 and she has worked hard. There are times that she cleans the stalls, feeds, and rides her horse all on her own. It took patience and practice, but it the best thing we had ever given her.
Good Luck, and Happy Birthday next Friday!!

Can you work at a place with horses? There are plenty of horses by me that dont see their owners for months or years because their owners are "too busy" to come by. The horses still need to be taken care of and ridden. My sister worked in a stable and she was often the one that the horses bonded with the most. One owner even offered to give her one of his horses if she paid for boarding. Unfort, she couldnt accept, however, the owner never denied her any access and appreciated her showing an interest in his horse. good luck and happy birthday.

Horses are very expensive and require a lot of care. You've said you don't have the right land for one. I've always wanted one, until I talked with people that have them, changed my mind real quick. Like the previous post said, wait till your out on your own and can do what you want.

horses aren't cheap. and you have to have a lot of experiance with horses. ive been riding since i was 6 months old with my sisters and im now 13. well in Wyoming the horses aren't cheap. i got my first horse for $900.and my next horse will be more expensive because it will be a barrel horse. but of course im spoiled. i usually get everything i want. i got a mini dach for around $700. just be patient. ive tried talking to my grandparents about getting a nother horse for their cattle ranch but they said no because its too hard to take care of them.but remember, not everyone gts what they want. but for me my parents promised me a horse and thats what i got. now im barrel racing and im not that good because its my first time. good luck

remember , horses are cheap, the care and upkeep get very expensive, if you like riding go to a stable and rent one , a horse would do fine on your 10 acres

Wait untill you move out of your parents house and can afford to look after it fully on your own.
It's totally irresponsible for you to expect your parents to look after your horse, so wait untill you have your own house and job to be able to look after your horse.

first of all, if your land is good for hunting, then maybe a horse wouldnt be a good idea. a hunter could mistake it for a deer. also, how old are you? maybe your parents feel that your not old enough. please add details about your age.
