That is really a good question as Louisville's location would seem better suited for the ACC and of course they are a terrific team.

No, they should have invited West Virginia instead of Boston College, as the Mountaineers have (or had) rivalries with two different ACC teams, Maryland and Virginia Tech, and could have re-established one with Virginia. Geographically, they're also closer.

There is little to tie Louisville to the ACC.

Based on athletic performence in the past, the two schools are pretty even. The only reason why I would lean towards Boston College is because they fit the conference better. ACC-ATLANTIC COAST Conference

The ACC still needs all the help they can get!! Therefore, they should invite just about every team they think they can lure into their sorry conference!!!
