I had a really freaky experience, that you're just going to have to take my word on ( although the other people present will back me up)
I come from Banbury. Do you know the nursery rhyme
"Ride a ****-horse to Banbury Cross
To see a white lady upon a white horse"?
Well, the Castle precinct in Banbury is built upon the old castle grounds and actually Marks and Spencers is above the old dungeons.
My mum used to work in Olympus Sports in the precinct and one night the alarms went off. As key holder she had to go and re-set the alarms. It was middle of the night, so my brother and I had to go with her.
The alarm was ringing, so we had to go to the security guards station to make sure there were no dangerous folk around before we went in.
I swear on everything that I hold dear that we all saw children running around and then a white lady came and shepherded them all away. It was the scariest thing I have ever seen - not because I was scared, but the reaction of the adults terrified me.
I won't ever forget that . I know what we all saw and it was very strange!

Yes I have on many occasions, a house I lived in was previously occupied by a recently decesed women. Each night I would hear what can only be described as a person walking down the stairs due to its rhythmic structure and repitition. Soon I sensed it was a spirit and being rather young asked in my mind if the lady would refrain from such activity as I found it disquieting. Instantly the Sounds stopped. We would often see flashes of a person going passed the window that was in our lounge however even the most sudden reaction would render any sight of the source of such presence nullified.
I have and can on an almost daily frequency sense and see auratic spirits around me and other people ever since.

I was driving one night late on as I do. I was listening to the radio, and I heard laughter. It was not coming from the radio show. When I looked in the mirror, I saw a shadow of a figure, which was gone in the blink of an eye. That is all I remember. When I woke up I was in A and E. The doctor told me I was very lucky, I hit a lampost at 50 miles an hour and my car had folded. When I went to visit where the accident was, I heard laughter. The same I heard in the car. There was only me and my girlfriend there. She heard it too.

Yes, sometimes it will go on for an hour or so. On rare occasions it is a remote viewing of a ghost. I connect somehow with a friend and explain the layout of the room or the outdoor scenery, the actions and appearances of the ghosts and, although it is never anywhere I have been, she can take me directly to the place I have seen and tell me who the ghosts were. I am not making any of this up.

Yes, as a child and as an adult. The house across the road from my childhood home was very active with the spirits of 2 children that had been murdered in the house in 1854. Then as an adult, I lived in a house in Wichita, KS that was residence to a woman that had her infant child pass away in the house in the late 1800's.

Loads of times!!! I had a 'tug of war' with the covers on my bed with an invisible force once, and we (my sister, brother, mom, dad and gran) regularly used to see a man dressed like a Roman soldier walk through our lounge into the hall and straight through the wall! Apparently our house is built on top of an old Roman settlement - i've found coins and pottery in the garden. Ghosts are unsettled spirits

First, is that hogs head NC? As far as ghostly activity, it is my belief that it happens to everyone in their everyday lives. It is a matter of being open to seeing it.

I have a ghost in my house but she is not a problem. She just opens the door to my guest room and sometimes turns on the light in the kitchen. Very friendly, and NOT scary. I truly believe this.

Yes I'm convinced my house is haunted, our glass front cabinet which is fixed to the wall opens by itself, my wife has saw it opening slowly. I have seen bright flash of lights in bedroom, also saw figure in bedroom, of a man, later found out it was my wifes father who died about 6 years ago.
