doing a speech on why i think horror movies are better than romance and i wanted to know other opinions to help me out.

Horror movies are better than romance, because most of the time you go see a movie to escape the real world. And a horror movie always makes your life look great by comparison...ahhh my life is not that bad at least i am not getting chased by a chainsaw welding maniac, or at least psycho ghosts aren't trying to perform weird experiments on me....Romance movies on the other hand just make you feel depressed if your not happily with someone, and if you are with someone then you probably wont be paying much attention to the movie anyway. ; )

A bizillion women can't be wrong when they opt for that Arlequin stuff. They're all looking for Prince Charming. Arlequin romances are the equivalent of Playboy for men (looking for the Perfect Doll who won't interrupt all the time). Horror movies are a more restricted market but likes by both men and women. They are scary but, generally, good fun

Romance, it so good to dream that you could be in one of those books are movies, and just dream that your bf or husband was sweet like the ones in books and movies,
Horror freaks me out lol, I dont like being freaked out

Romance is better, as it can appeal to a wider audience.
Now, you can blend the two, but romance has to take the lead. Otherwise, it can easily descend into a gorefest and no one want sthat

Neither is "better", however, do you really want to fill your head with a lot of negative stuff? Isn't there enough horror in the world?

horror definitely! i love stephen king's books.... even though there are some whacko people in there, it seems so REAL, so plausible. and, you know, romance is so overrated... just the covers on the books look cheesy and it's the same story over and over again. it just gets on my nerves! ugh.... okay, I'm also a little morbid so... lol

Horror cause it makes you feel scared and terrified.That's why people like to watch horror movies cause of that reason.People like to be scared!I know I do!

Romance because they are not too graphic, and they are sometimes very funny, and sweet.
