I am a woman of God, born again, and Holy Spirit filled.
I love the Lord....
I am also a single mom, 45 years old.
I have 2 teen agers, a girl 18 a boy 16.
Help....
I need advice about Christian single mother/paranting, tough love ideas.
I love my 2 but they are ready to drive me out of my mind, help.
Fighting, arguing, competition, sible rivery is way too mild to describe my kids.
We've been through thick and thin. Because I came from a very abusive marriage I became more of a "friend" then a parant. I mean, I have always taught my kids how much God loves them, all about Jesus, the Bible.
Someplace the message has gotten lost.
I teach them respect and whats right and wrong.
I won't kick my kids out, I know how this is and I couldn't do this to them.
Help....

I commend you on being a mother who is trying to train up her children the right way. Be patient and faithful. This is just a test. Your children know what you taught them and those are difficult ages right now. If you attend church regularly, it wouldn't hurt if they joined the youth program and had some guidance from a youth pastor. I can't really say what to do if I don't know what the problem is but these are just typical growing pains. They are close in age and two different sexes which is grounds right there for competition and arguing. Have a "family night" with your children every week. Encourage communication. Your daughter should be on her way out to college right about now so it won't last always. Pray mama. Pray pray and ask God for guidance and the strength to raise up on the devil when he comes sneaking in your household. But be firm with your kids. Let them know in NO uncertain terms that you will not accept disrespect, fighting, or any kind of abuse in your household. It's time to stop being friend and start being mom again.

Start treating them like young Adults With adult consequences
The morals that the bible taught will come to light so don't try to push the word now (you'll get more rebellion)
