Sadly yes, When i come out I look like the devil cause my eyes are so sensitive and turn red!

Never. My eyes are really sensitive to chlorine and if I swim without my goggles for more than 5 mins my eyes will sting for at least half an hour afterwards and I can't even open my eyes. The last time I had to put so much eye drops into them until I can open my eyes without hurting.

I would never swim in the lakes or sea without goggles. God knows what are inside those murky waters.

You should swim with you eyes. Most times clorine makes your eyes red. Thats why they have goggles. You should open your eyes cause you may neverknow whats ahead of you in the water. My friend wants she was swimming with her eyes open she say a dead body in the water. She got a big reward for it. I don't recommend opening your eyes in public beaches. But if you go to the carriebean islands you can.

Yep. It's how I see underwater! Sometimes I wear goggles, especially if I'm swimming for more than a couple laps. It helps your eyes from irritation from chlorine.

I don't because I know someone who went blind while swimming with her eyes open because there was too much chlorine in the pool.

Depends upon the water. Public pools have extra harsh chemicals to deal with pee so I don't dare. Newer chemicals turn bright red around the one peeing so he/she can be thrown out of public pool and banned. If your child does it, you will also be banned. Hooray. Rivers and streams are polluted with things that have them saying don't eat the sci-fied fish. Don't open your eyes or that stuff may just burn them right out of your head. My Home Pool - I can open my eyes - Hooray LOL

Nope. Whenever I try, I end up closing them again after half a second! That's why people like me love to wear goggles.
