whenone throws away the deception one comes neartothe TRUTH...... and that is the life. Deceptions lead one to negetion and the choicesof which one can have truth. We all are trvelling from known to unknown, hence it appears as a decepiton ..... once we decide that every thing is unknown and search for known i.e life we find the truth.

Life is defined by a peculiar set of complex metabolic reactions found only in the subset of the universe called "living things." Things without these characteristic metabolic processes are often called inanimate, or without life. As with most definitions there are borderline cases. In this definition, consider virii and prions. They do not seem to be alive themselves, but they can reproduce through very complex and ordered reactions. Still, without a host, no metabolism may be noted.
I view the world as holding an existence outside my mind. There are truths to discover and share with others. Science is the best evidence that truth is NOT relative. There are things beyond us about which we might disagree, but at least one of us is wrong, because we are subject to external truths and not vice versa. You cannot think or feel away the laws of physics, for example.
You can say that you base your knowledge on some variant of Cartesian logic, but I bet you don't show evidence of that in your behavior. DesCartes didn't either.
Cogito ergo sum "I think therefore I am" suggests a world of life beyond the physical things we see. What is the difference between a dead body and a live body? That is the stuff of life and it does not appear to be measurable except to note that it is there or it is absent. It seems to have no properties consistent with a particle or a wave. It does not appear to be transmittable, but intimately tied with the body, though not in any phyical way. Most peculiar.

I'd say it's more of a deception. More often than not, so much time is spent trying to amass things and money that life slips by. To my way of thinking, things and money isn't the stuff that life is made of.

In science it is truth (falsifiable). In your religion it can be deception. But if you (still) have to ask for yourself, it isn't a deception. Unless you object science.

Both . Depends with what mood you look at it .
There is a black mark in moon & there is a beautiful lotus in the mud.
Choice is yours . For me it is the truth which I have to explore, understand & cherish . Atleast till the time it deceives me .

As truth is a relative concept, what is the difference?
Like, if you can fake honesty and sincerity, you'd have it made.
