You will probably have to start off in a lower level position as you don't have any experience. Work your way up and you will go far.

With an M.B.A., you can TELL the hotel what job you want. A manager of large and small chains probably don't have an Associates Degree much less a B.A., but an M.B.A., you could explore the options of ownership of hotel/motel chains depending on their rating. A five-star hotel/motel like a Marriott, has management again with B.A.'s. It's really your call, I bet in some cases, if you have not been getting bites on the position of Management, it may be because of the M.B.A. You are a well qualified individual to do no less than manage/own a hotel/motel. Good luck. /jadesredemption3@yahoo.com

Try writing to the hotel you are interested to work in, write a sincere CR of your experience and qualifications and ask for any opportunity they may provide you.
Experiences are equally important as qualification, however, if you are sincere and willing to learn, you may rise quickly to any management post.
Have Fun!
