I, personally, have always had a strong dislike for Bob Seger. I think his music is vile and I have banned it from my car, my house, and my office. But, I don't want to see bad things happen to him.
I realize you r point is a little different, because Slayer sings about violence. But, don't forget, they are entertainer. Not all forms of entertainment are for all people.
