Hi, I asked the question 'what's going on with my body'. To clarify, I am 21 years old. I am still bleeding, tho very lightly. I normally have periods that last 5-7 days and the first 2 or 3 days are really quite heavy, especially the first 2. To recap, I said I had been feeling dizzy for two weeks quite a lot, tender boobs etc. I have had a bit of a skin break out too. I was 5 days late which has never happened before (in 10 years), and this period has by no account been normal so far. I am very bloated and after eating my stomach is far more bloated and very hard to the touch. I read twice now that conception takes place TWO WEEKS after when you think i.e. not at the exact time he ejaculates and up it swims etc. I also have learned sperm can live for up to a week in a woman's body! When should I do a test? Even if I am, I think it may not show up whilst I am bleeding or may be too early. For some reason I think blood would affect the urine - is that right?

Hey, flower.

Calm down. We are not predictable robots. The body of a woman is a mystery. I bled just yesterday right in the middle of my cycle for no reason. I am also extremely bloated and have tender boobs, but I know there is no way I can be pregnant!

Relax a little, stressing won't help. Give yourself 2 weeks or so and then see your doc if you're still worried.

While pregnancy might explain all of your symptoms, so too could a hormonal imbalance of insulin. Actually that is what happens when pregnancy occurs - insulin goes into overdrive to put food in cells (its job), to make a baby.

One can bleed during pregnancy. Different pregnancy test kits have different wait times. You would have to read the packages for their requirements.

No it won't affect the test. In any case though you should go see a doctor to have it checked out. If you aren't PG they will find out what is wrong if you are you are getting the medical attention that you need for you and your baby.

You need to see your GYN to figure out whats going on
as for the the two weeks for conception after ejaculation... you need to educate yourself better, thats far from the truth
