As for how it effecting how you personally identify, it probably shouldn't. But as for labelling the act: if it's with another dude, it's gay. Doesn't mean you can't identify as straight, and do that (though there are people who would take issue with that, and I agree that it may suggest something about your character or else the circumstances under which the event occurred). But in the medical community, you're still a man who has sex with men. "Homosexual". Maybe not "gay" in your overall orientation, but that's a homosexual act.

You are the prime example of an emasculated, insecure male. "its not gay if I'm on top." Dude get real. Because of men like you, homophobia continues to plague western society. Not to mention STD's and all other psychological disorders associated with persons as youself.
If you are having such a hard time embracing your sexuality, join a group, talk it over with your peers. (you know, those fat guys you hang with.) Hang around people that assert your sexuality. What ever that may be. So, that you can finally come to terms with your homosexual tendancies.
The real issue is not a matter of intercourse. You have some deep rooted fear of what other people might think of you. This is the cause of your denial. What was your home life like? Since your esteem lies on the shoulders of someone you respect; can you really call this person a freind or family member if they cannot accept your life choices?

homsexual sex acts are dedfined by sexual acts between two people of the same sex. It doesn't necissarily mean you are gay if you engage in a homosexual act, but you'd be fooling yourslef if you tried to believe you are totally straight if you engage in this type of activity and enjoy it. Whoever, or whatever you are, just make sure you are okay with it. It is really nobody elses business but you and your partner, but If you are scared of being gay, while that is understandable......it takes two to play ball, and if you are a pitcher and he is the catcher....you both are gay.

If you are having sex with others of the same gender, that is gay sex. The fact that you withhold half of who you are in order to preserve an obscure and obsolete label is sad.

You, sir, are deluded. You can play all the games you want in your playground brain, but Gay is Gay, regardless of what you call it. You sound like a man who will have sex with a man, but only if he has had a glass of wine and isn't responsible for what happened....very sad state of denial. And downright insulting to YOU and others...grow up and take responsibility for yourself ... you show great disrespect for your sexual partners with this stupid question.

Sorry, it's still sex between two people of the same gender. You're gay as last year's Easter bonnet.

It's gay sex if the person you are being intimate with (doesn't matter HOW intimate--or even what you do--could be just kissing) is of your own gender, period.
Deal with it.

Are you serious? If your sexually attracted to the same sex, it's a homosexual attraction - pitching or catching.
