I don't think there are any health benifits from ear piercing. Except that maybe you'll feel better about your looks.

If you do it with clean materials it should be OK. Although some people don't respond the same to new things in their bodies like ear-piercing or tattoos, it doesn't matter if you do it with new clean materials or not, simply your body doesn't accept it.
Before you go to get an ear-piercing or other, think about how your skin get cure in a wound and how long it takes and also, you can even get Hepatitis C by doing this.

Once again, choose a clean place to get your piercing!

That all depends on if your alergic or not... Like, I got my ears pierced, when I was 9 years old, and found out later, that I have my mothers skin.. I'm allergic, too, cheap earrings.. And because, of my love for better variety, with the cheap ones, I would wear them anyway!! But, years later, I itched my ear lobes, once too many times, and my ear ripped, and the earring fell right on my lap!! So, I went down to Walmart, and got my ears pierced again, this time double-pierced, with strictly, thee expensive jewelry, in those wholes, from now on!! And it looks really cool !! Having them double-pierced.. I can wear silver & Gold, loops, one smaller than, the other.. Looks very attractive! And I've even gotten "Compliments" from having them double-pierced!! As long as I have earrings on, no one notices, my ripped ear.. Thank-God!! I dont let them get that close!! Smile!! Get yours done, its so "Feminine" for women, to have earrings on, I feel !!! And it just makes the whole "Beauty-thing" much more enhanced !!!

It would not impact your wellbeing if this is contained in the ear. the in basic terms piercing which at the on the spot are not sturdy for wellbeing are in places that could want to wish to under no circumstances have holes (ex: tongues, penis, vagina, genitals, eyelids) yet ear piercings are in basic terms high quality.

why wouldn't it be? The pain is only momentary and if the piercing is done w/ clean materials there shouldn't be any infections or anything. However, if you're really disturbed w/ the idea of piercing just use clip-ons.
