Perhaps she wanted to get out of the way so that the entire class could see and hear her husband speaking to them. I doubt it's anything more.

what exactly is wrong with that? teachers does it all the time so she can look at him while he's talking. i used to have a teacher that does that alot and he always put his hand on my shoulder and stuff. unless she's doing something wrong, then don't put too much into it.

My teacher did the same thing to me when I was in school and it was all just about space it wasnt about me LOL
