Has anyone else noticed that there are two (or more) different versions of the "Grinch" movie (Jim Carrey version)? My husband LOVE this movie and watch it whether its winter or not. We've both noticed (and are completely baffled) that when we watched it on TV several times, there were different scenes (Martha May wins an award for her light display - Martha May /Mayor scenes, etc). When we had watched it on TV years ago, these scenes were never there. Then we went out and (finally) bought the DVD and the "added" scenes were nowhere to be found on the DVD either. What in the heck?? Are there two different versions out there? HELP - must know!

It's the same with the Goonies and the Octopus scene. They do it for time considerations, TV ratings, etc.
